Problems with Braintree and/or Splat
I'm having some problems with SPlat. I haven't done much yet so some of this may be user error. I tracked some vocals several days ago and that went well. So far so good. Last night I decided to install the Braintree update, (this also includes the Allston patch as well). I don't think this is related but I had previously refrained from installing all the 'content' so my buttons show "red" in C3. Last night I went ahead and installed all of it so C3 would give me green lights and hopefully, no update problems down the road. This was also in preparation for moving the content to another drive, (although not all of the content ended up in the 'content' folder).
When I opened SPlat my control bar custom settings were gone! I set it all up again and after closing the project and opening another they were gone again! Back to defaults! I thought this was a global setting. I haven't been back into SPlat today to see what's what but has anyone else seen this? I saw one post about it yesterday.
I don't know if these next two issues are related to the update or not. Again, I haven't worked in SPlat enough yet.
1. When I open the 'fly out' on the PC EQ while my project is playing I can hear a faint distortion. I don't remember ever hearing that before. Anyone else?
2. When trying to edit clip gain on an audio track the linear tool doesn't appear to work properly. For example, when I drag a selection and try to lower the gain, (of that section), the entire clip lowers. I know this was fixed. Anyone else seen this problem?
Thanks for any help. If I need to break this out into several posts, I will.
