comp recording option request

I get the below result if I loop record in comp mode without autopunch points being set.
((I have metronome enabled during record with zero count in))

In the above, there is no way to stop outside of the loop, so the last take is necessarily a partial.  Sonar is initially using the partial last take, and splitting the rest of the takes accordingly.  I have another DAW with the option to discard final takes of loop recording session if its duration is less than the full loop length.  I would like to see that option in Sonar, or alternatively, an option to initially have last full take selected, without splitting anything.

If I set punch points inside the loop points, then I get a single, whole clip per loop to begin working with.

I don't like doing punches inside of loops though.  This almost invariably ends up with loop points set at places that cause mojo loss at each iteration.
