Slate VCC 2 problem. Maybe VBC?

First, do the groups work like this: Group one drums, group 2 bass, group 3 guitars ETC?

I am trying to export a track and it omits the bass. I turned off fast bounce and checked the listen so I didn't have to waste so much time trying different things. It turns out either the VMR or the VBC is causing the problem. Has anyone had this happen?

update

As strange as it sounds, I just changed out the Grey for the Red and it sorted itself out. Weird. I would like to know what the group thing is about for the VCC though.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

I fixed my problem. I just don't get the idea of the groups.

Grouping is just that. Put all your drums on group 1 using a certain console, other tracks or buses to the other 7 group channels or use none.
    VCC2 operates differently than VCC1 & isn't as flexible.

(I also notice that default user presets that open in VMR don't always load up correctly.)

Thanks Carl. I did find out that to only use the buss emu on just the master bus.
