Stop point

Hopefully a very simple Sonar (X3) question ......
When playing a project, and you hit stop because you want to make an edit, sometimes the main view and piano roll view stop at the current point, but most of the time they jump back to where you clicked play from. What controls this behaviour, and is it configurable?

    Ctrl+ spacebar will pause at the spot where the now time line is. Swiping with the mouse while in playback in the time line will cause the scrolling to stop. Click in a blank area and it will resume.

    Thanks both. That solved it. If only all Sonar problems were that simple.
