[CWBRN-26976] - Drum Grid pane in PRV: Left panel view keeps resizing

When you open a Piano Roll View that displays a drum map, the left pane (i.e. the Note Map pane) is always too narrow and is sometimes slightly scrolled downwards with a blank area at the top.  Of course you can easily adjust it but it doesn't remain the way you set it and reverts every time you close and re-open PRV (or change screensets).

This problem has been mentioned in these forums before. After reading old threads, I see that this behaviour has apparently been present since Sonar 5 and has been reported more than once.

    yep.  I can confirm that's the way it works and it frustrates me.
     
     
    the only issue I have with your report is that it's not really called a "drum map" it's part of the PRV and drum maps are separate things.

    You are probably thinking of the Drum Grid Pane but the part which needs adjusting is Key/Pitch Pane which affects the Drum Grid, Notes and Controller panes. If anyone is interested, I wrote a simple autohotkey script to open the PRV and resize the key/pitch pane. It is only a few lines but may need the coordinates adjusted for different screen resolutions and desired width of the Key/Pitch pane. The script assumes the PRV is docked.

    ...but it looks like it's been fixed in the very latest 'Braintree' update! Give it a go.
