I disagree. There seems to be a ridiculous amount of free and affordable educational material out there released by Cake themselves and third party providers.
 
However I will upvote this because I always want more material to obsessively scour.

It isn't a personal attack against Cakewalk,nor its users.And I have watched those on cakewalks youtube,and others on groove3 and others sold by cakewalk.But there aren't as many musical techniques,mixing processes,ect,ect. made in sonar by users.Sure I can watch the tutorials made in ableton,reason,logic,protools but I want to see many,many,many,many,many,many more how to tutorials done in the DAW environment I am most comfortable in which is sonar.I would disagree about the words "ridiculous amount"

I know what you mean. There is some, but not nearly as many as there is for PT, Logic etc... Its hard to find a tut or similar videos on real specific subjects on specifically Sonar. However i usually watch the Tuts on other DAW's and can usually apply the same fundamentals. Luckily Cakewalk has an amazing forum that answers any questions I tend to have. That's something that's irreplaceable.

I have about 12* hours worth of Sonar vids on this computer alone and my collection is a drop in the bucket to what's out there. The SWA vids by Karl Rose are task specific if that's what you are looking for. They're kind of like a video manual for the program. The Anderton X1 Advanced series shows more tecnique type stuff as do many of the Groove3 vids (there are start to finish mixes done completely in Sonar).
 
There can always be more but if you know what to get and where to look the bases are pretty much covered. A few years ago it was a little dry/erratic but it's gotten a lot better and more seems to be being made all the time.
 
So certainly not saying no to more vids (I voted)... just saying there IS a lot of material out there.
 
*Edit: I just realized I have more like 20 hours of vids. Perhaps more.

I find that I learn more when watching videos of the basics, followed by messing around with the DAW on my own and turning to the manual when necessary. But the fact is not everyone learns like that. There needs to be more video content if Cakewalk wants to make their product much more relevant. I've watched pretty much every bit of video content available for Sonar, and that's from Sonar X1 to Sonar 2015, and the amount of content available is kind of sad when compared to almost every other major DAW out there.
 
If Cakewalk can turn Craigs Tip of the Week thread into a video series I'd bet you they'd get a lot more attention, but that's up to them. They can also take notes from Image-Line's Guru Series.

Speaking of tutorials I noticed as I was updating a tutorial on the arpeggiator flashed the screen. I couldn't find an arpeggiator tutorial in help. Anyone know anything about this?

Sure they have some,but if you do a search for video tutorials on doing a or b in sonar most likely you will not find many.There are tons of ableton,logic and reason tuts.

yes, there are a lot more tutorials for these products, but a majority are user produced.  Most products have a similar manufacturer tutorial output as cakewalk. Don't forget that the blog tends to have fresh content that i often find more relevant (to the non-beginner) than the video tutorials.
