[SOLVED ]- PRV Tool Move -- constrain vertical/horizontal

Constrain movement by some additional key (Control Left Click is often used by good progams) to vertical only or horizontal only.   If I want to correct a note pitch, I don't want to move the start time.

    Hi william-

    From Help:
Tip: When moving a note, hold down the SHIFT key to constrain vertical or horizontal movement, depending on
    the direction you first move.

Many thanks!   I thought I tried that, but must have skipped this easy one.
