You are a good songwriter, as I have said before.

Your vocals here are just a touch sibilant (in spots) for my taste, as is the cymbal. Actually, I'd get the cymbal down from its icepick-in-the-ear status.

Holy cow, great song though, great vocal, great melodies, especially on the outtro . . . presented very imaginatively.

    cheers,

p.s. uh, you know how to spell chihuahua, I assume, and those are frolicking Dobermans with big heads. Nice marketing ploy!

well I have the cymbol on hi pitch to attract more sadistic chi Wawa's
and those black dogs are the rare and elusive bigfoot breed of chiwawa
I agree with the cymbols and vocals  just to lazy to fix them right now
    thanks

It works as a whole here apart from that observed by the green soul one, the cymbal does hiss a bit.

Writing and performance-wise, good song!  I like it.  It reminds of someone, though I can't quite put my finger on it...  Good stuff.

The mix has good width and is fairly punchy, but does have a bit of high end harshness though as mentioned above.  Otherwise, well, that's it.

I love Todd!  That being said, there's nothing normal about this song, in fact, it's way above the norm.  The song is not the usual schlock-rock, but tasty and original.  The arrangement is clever and left me wanting more.  The only thing that stood out to me was the unusual panning.  I like that the lead vocal is spread out, as are other elements of your mix, but to my ears, it leaves a big hole in the middle of the spectrum that wasn't completely filled by anything else.  I heard more coming from my left speaker than my right.  Other than that, this could be a gem.  The vocal performance is stellar, and the reverb is very tasty and well executed.  Kudos to you!

    All the best,
    Lynn

I must have hearing loss in the left ear
or maybe im just getting used to the new monitors and I need to reposition them
    I do thank you
    and all comments are welcome
this song is really a little more my style
my mix is odd but everytime I do my 400 mixes I just love the void in the center
im thinking this mixing style might be good in a movie score I am working on
