[Solved] Beware of "Preview at Host Tempo"

I was having a fiddle with the latest update and ended up at the one shots in the media library (as you do). I clicked on various bits of kit and was presented with nasty, metallic stuttering sounds. How odd I thought.
Turns out having "Preview at Host Tempo" ticked doesn't work for all things in the browser!
Another lesson learnt.

Grum.

That's because one shots don't have a tempo, yet by previewing at host tempo you're asking SONAR to loop and "acidize" them. SONAR's looping engine probably goes insane trying to figure out how the one shot can fit into a metrical structure, and where to find transients.

Good point. I'm pleased I found out where the problem was pretty quickly - and now I know why I had a problem .

I'll put "solved" in the thread title. That will bring more attention to the thread so that others don't get tripped up.
