ACT

Hello, you all in this great forum!
I want to add my UMX610 (Behringer) in the ACT surfaces page and in the drop-down list I see ACT MIDI controller and Cakewalk Generic surface and a few mackie-controlls and when adding it I can then set in/out ports, change the checkbox values and WAI's and all looks good until I press "OK" or "confirm" (Not sure what English Windows says..:)
anyway...it all goes back to default values and my changes is gone.
I use the Steam version.
any ideas?
Beside this, my midi-controller works just fine, but would like to use the ACT in some of my work!

There's a video on my signature of me using a midi controller with ACT. I don't know if it will help.

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

Thanks for fast reply, but in my case I don't get that far!
I don't see that many presets as u see in the video...only those i told in the first post.
I cant see anything about ACT in the Utilities "drop-down"
In the Control Surfaces it's back to the same default value - ACT Midi controller -1, without in/out ports and checkboxes grayed out!
    I dunno!

    Ohh...!
When i Start the Sonar from the local place in the steam folder, it does not act like the "online" program,
fewer plugins is scanned at start BUT the ACT is working....!
This confuse me a lot...As i don't know if the Sonar uses local settings (ACT folder is found in c:/program data/Cakewalk) But also in the steam folder, this goes by most of the files...makes me feel i run two versions of the program...!
The other settings is default and re-installing wont help as I have tried this 50-11 times already!!
I think I must change the path to the software...is there a Main.ini file or some that I can edit, or at least check?

I have now confirmed what I suspected, its an 32/64-bit issue
In local mode It runs as I want...but when I run the online steam version (default icon on desktop) It scans different vst's and ACT wont be activated, but in local mode it will!
I come back when I  have solved what files to edit to make it all run as it is planned!

When running 32-bit ACT runs fine, but not in 64-bit version of the program!

Thanks for helping me understand the complexities of the case.

I don't have an answer for you. You use a different configuration than I do.

"Regsvr32 ACTController.dll" in cmd made the trick!
