Cleverbridege Aggravation Level.

I ordered a subscription to Platinum on Feb 27th. On March 27th. payment failed because my pay hadn't went into bank. I'm a disabled Veteran and get paid on the 1st. of every month. Through email, Cleverbridge customer support suggested cancelling the subscription and start it again on April 1st. I did that and when I paid on April 1st, I had to re-authorize everything.

This A.M. I get an email sating payment has failed. The April 1st payment cleared my bank the same day and was paid through Paypal. I provided them with the receipt in email and have not heard back.

I now have to go and re-authorize everything again and see what is NOT going to work i.e. Rapture works but will not load "Dragon's Breath." There is another new plugin that is from Cakewalk and I get I disable or enable prompt.

My concern is, Cleverbridge has our banking information and yet they can't account for my $14.99 and deactivate my software. I have a lot of thinking to do. I don't have to buy the best of a product but I know will end up upgrading. As an enthusiast and hobbyist I choose to spend the money. With that being said, there are a lot of people spending money that they choose to but are dealing with inconveniences that they shouldn't have to.

When this happens this is telling me as a customer, in the industry, enthusiast, or hobbyist, that my time  is not important.

This community is great and I see many taking care of one another. I'm just really aggravated. I said it once before, my wife says I have expensive hobby's.

End rant.

When I have paid for something and can not use it, that is dangerous for everything and everyone in the near

But CW has just started to work with Cleverbridge, subscription model is new, Command Center and (de/re)authorizations are also new. In addition, you have contributed to the story with (the first) failed payment.
So delays/inconvenience was predictable. Year subscription works better since what you have will never expire (so there is no need to check authorization = less code = less bugs).

Okay, I just tried to show the emails between myself and Cleverbridge. It basically boils down to the left not knowing what the right hand is doing. The problem is I don't know who the hands belong to. I can't afford paying the $149 up front and that is why I used the month to month subscription. I still have X3 producer. I understand the rolling out of new stuff and things to a point. But, should we have to pay to be basically BETA testers? Oh well, after this, if I can't get any better service out of Cleverbridge, then I'm done.

Weekend is not the best time to solve problems, please be patient.
CW Staff normally monitor this forum. But if something does not work usual way on Monday, try PM them. They are friendly and they have coordinated hands

I know what it's like to be very pour. I've been broke most of my life.  I find it hard to believe that anyone would not leave the $15 in their bank account when they know a bill is due. Budgeting is more important when you have little money on hand.  And most banks allow for overdraft for a short period of time and then they charge you for it.  Most people have a line of credit attached to their accounts so as to not pay overdraft charges. I have a $500 LOC just for this reason. Please don\t take these comments the wrong way I'm sincerely trying to be helpful.

And there's nothing wrong with staying with X3, it's solid and you'll not have to put up with this kinda stuff.
save up $100 and go for Professional instead of Platinum. Just put your $15 in a cookie jar each month :)

I do not think you could write that in case at some moment of your life that amount was your monthly salary or significant part of it. Even when you spend more for a breakfast now.

But the issue here is that it looks like CW/Cleverbridge are not yet tested reactivation procedure in case of monthly membership. They have introduced that model so it should be polished (does not matter with $1, $15 or $1500).

For people to make any kind of assumptions about my finances, should not. You know nothing about me nor my financial situation.

I got an email from Cleverbridge, and it was their fault they opened two accounts for me (was only charged for one??). Why? I don't know all they gave me for an explanation is it was done in error. But, when they suggested that I cancel my account to coincide with my pay dates, they canceled the wrong one.

People are supposed to be able to come on here for help, at least that is what so many have told me. Then I was told was free ...etc., but to the contrary it is not. When one comes to this community, they must do so fearing judgement for whatever the people that judge do their judging. For whatever it is, is a variable to be answered once it's done. Their payment to belong here is judgement.

I do take offense to whoever cactus music is and his statement. I choose for a very specific reason for my financial situation to exist has it has. When doing so and I incur what I know are going to be revolving charges, I am doing so with the reasonable expectation that the business I'm conducting business with has their S%#t together, in this case Cleverbridge. The argument that this is new and so on is BS to me. I'm purchasing a product. I am not paying to be a BETA tester for that product. If it's not ready for market, it's not ready. Pretty simple concept.

So, to conclude, this is the second time I have been attacked on here. This first I accepted partial responsibility because I posted out of frustration and the community reacted because of past experiences. I'm out of my league here. As just an enthusiast and a hobbyist it's clear that this is a community of professionals.

This forum is "free" in term of freedom. And all people are different. Everyone has own opinion. And that is not so bad.

Many users here are hobbyist, there will be no discussions about audio interfaces under $300, no "HOME" version, etc. otherwise.

I work with computers for long time. Last 15 years most drivers and other software for new hardware was released with "beta" status (in some cases that could be seen in the version name). So that is how things work in modern fast moving world. If everything is polished, it is released too late since concurrents throw alpha quality on customers and most of them accept the deal. My neighbors have bought wash machine 2 month ago, for more than $1k, far from the cheapest one. When it has started to make crazy things and they have called the support, the answer was "yes... we know, sorry... we send you technician to update the firmware".

Back to the topic. If you still have no movement, it is may be good time to PM CW Staff now...
