Apparently, the rest of the kit is HTML 404.

Link worked fine.  Unless there's a control I couldn't find, all I was getting was the sound of a kick drum.  No high hats, snare, tom toms, etc.

'Tis why I said the rest of the kit was missing.

Worked for me...you program it the same way as the original unit: select an instrument by clicking its name, then click where you want it to sound in the sequencer section at the bottom as the sequence plays.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Nope!  But I did figure out what was wrong.  Now, tell me, how do you program an 808 that looks like the following (using Chrome):

(Yes, that's ALL that displayed!)

I just tried the link on FireFox and this is what I can now see (and play with):

I think the difference between how the users' browsers work might be explained with different settings in the browsers for example the javascript being not in use might be the culprit.

Yes, I also meant that it works on my phone when I used firefox but I don't find much use for that.

I would have to be beyond bored to sit around making step sequencer beats on my phone.  Can't  see a practical use for it but it is a fun idea.

I have a friend who actually writes music on his phone on the subway. The man is a creative genius - almost a musical rain man of sorts...

I had to imbibe large quantities of alcohol when he invited me to jam when we visited him last year. That man's brain is working on an entirely different level. I'm not inclined to use the term lightly, but genius is the word in that case.

That's how you know it's working.

(That's also why some of us have no hair to wave. It atrophied from lack of use.)
