Option to auto-fade audio clips when editing

Simple toggle-able option to automatically fade clips by a preset amount (and kind) whenever we change a clip ending. So every time I (e.g.) split or slip-edit Sonar would automatically apply a fade of whatever kind and duration I specified. Option to override with a keystroke modifier would be great as well. Giant time saver.

yeah, we discussed workarounds for this missing feature not too long ago ... so to actually have it build into Sonar would be great

    Hi FreeFlyBertl
I'm curious to know what the workarounds were? Aside from lassoing clips and fading or using Process->Apply Effect->Fade/Envelope (exactly the kind of repetitive things I'd like to automate) I'm not aware of other methods, but I'm interested to know if others found clever options.
