Mobius 2 and Sonar Platinum - redirecting multi out

Hi,

Is there a way to redirect each Mobius looper track output to Sonar input ?

At the moment I am using hardware looper (Lexicon JamMan) using an external send and returning the unit output to my soundcard input. I would like to replicate the workflow in software with Mobius with the benefits of having multitrack capability for processing and also recording each track output from the looper.

Mobius is now in the Fx bin of a BUS where I redirect the Sonar tracks for looping using a send. Now I need to redirect the looper output to input tracks in Sonar.  Mobius has multiple out capabilities but I cannot see how to redirect the VST pin in Sonar.

Is there a way to do this in Sonar ?

Thks,

jp

Although not specifically about this plug-in, the question has been asked many different ways. Plug-in output is not recorded in SONAR This is why tracks are recorded dry and softsynth output cannot be recorded live. Last megathread here http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3174625. The feature request is here http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3099239

Thanks scook for the follow up.

I visited the thread, quite sensitive topic.  I will vote for the feature and will explore other solutions for the specific looper situation.

    Hi !

I've just tried Mobius as well quickly today and I could not find a way to assign its multiple audio outs to individual tracks with SONAR. Have you finally succeeded? I tried to see if I could use patch points / aux tracks to make it work but I was not able to succeed. Thanks!

    Hi,
At this point I don't think redirecting muliple out from a VST effect is possible in Sonar.
I gave up on that but would be really interested in seing the feature implemented. It's been added to the wish list with the team.
I really expected that the patch point would offer some solution but No.  But Patch point is so powerful.

In Ableton Live it's been a child play to achieve. The multi out of mobius shows up as an input source in the track selector just like if it was an external sound source.

Can you configure it as a synth and use it with patch points to achieve this? Just a thought and it might not work...
