Did you download and install the Boz PC bundle? It's in there. Sorry, I don't use the command center, so I'm not exactly sure if you have to download separately like I do.

Yes it is separate and will need to be installed from further down in the C3 under Sonar.

If you use CCC to download Sonar Platinum and you select the main folder and not any of the sub-folders below it (if you click on the main folder it opens up to reveal several sub-files or sub-folders, just like Windows Explorer) do you have to go back and install each of the sub-files or sub-folders. Why would they not be included in the main folder if you select "Install All"?

As Susan G says above SCAN FOR PLUGINS .. you probably have it set as manual instead of auto scan at start up?

It was not there when I scanned the plugins so I did a reinstall of the Boz bundle in the command center and the panipulater has been installed in the pro channel.  Thanks to everyone for your help !

I figured it out. When you click the arrow to expand Sonar, the sub-directory needs to be downloaded as well...each one. What an idiot I am .

I will be taking the external HD to the office tomorrow...LOL.

You can save a lot of time by only downloading the packages you need for the upgrade. I posted the list in another thread of yours.

Unless changed, two of the manual downloads have no extensions on them. They are installation files, but need to be renamed with a ".exe" extension to run.

If you look at the files with windows explorer, two of them were just names with no extension. If you have "hide known extensions" enabled, the displayed icon will be different. I made another post in a CCC thread about these, but forget if I called them out by name.

Edit: The was the post: http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3188637

    The two files were
    BozPCModuleCollectionSetup_1.1.0.0
    NYCShowroomIRsSetup_1.0.0.0

Again, I have not checked to see if corrected, but if you have extensions hidden and the icon shows like the other files (CW logo), then they have the ".exe" on them. Otherwise "rename" them and add ".exe" for manual installation.

Even with a slow connection, may want to try to get two of the files, the Anderton Collection (~88MB) and Boz Collection (~2MB). Since the Platinum core and full X3 Producer are installed, this will get all of the binaries unique to Cambridge. After that, the only thing missing would be the local help and Reference PDF which are part of the 2Gb "Help and Tutorials" package.

    Yes, that makes sense.
When I download them to the external HD, I will look for them and then just change the extension to a .exe...right?

All the installers are exe files.

Correct, just look at the folder in Windows Explorer; all of the installation files should have an exe to manually run. Again, this may have already been updated, but worth noting.

If you're in the habit of visiting the BozDigitals website here is a caution: there is a version 2.01 of Panipulator available but it doesn't have a ProChannel version. You can install and use both but beware they are different plugins.

Re: Cambridge : Where is Panipulator 2015/04/02 06:41:55 (permalink)
    @TremoJem

Another quick comment that occurred to me is you can copy all of the downloaded files to the download directory specified in the CCC settings. Mine is set to a magnetic HDD (F:\Cakewalk Content\Command Center\Downloads), and what this allows is to change the installation lights in CCC to green. You can also opt to simply install via the CCC once copied, as you have bypassed the "download" part and it will just jump to installation after verifying the file (but this reduces flexibility in installation).

Manual installation launches the installers individually which allows for more control over installation path, but does not change them green in the CCC.

If the red lights bother you, you can manually run them first and then reinstall via the CCC (this is what I did since the red lights did bother me, but they are irrelevant to SONAR so long as the installer was run).

I just realized this was a thread hijack, but wanted to get that information out to you.
