Will my laptop be able to run Sonar?

Hi,
 
Today, I run Sonar X3 on my desktop computer, and Music Creator 7 on my laptop.
I'm currently considering upgrading to the new Sonar, but only after getting a new desktop computer (hopefully in June). 
I did however disover that the system requirements for the new Sonar is the same as for Music Creator 7, which is working just fine on said laptop.
 
What confuses me is this: 
Processor: 2.6GHz Intel or AMD multi-core processor (at least Intel i5 or AMD A10 APU recommended)
 
My laptop says it has:
 
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4200U @ 1,60 GHz  2,30 GHz
 
So, I have an i5 (which is recommended), but it's mentioning both 1,60 and 2,30 GHz. 
Appearantly I'm "missing" 0,3 GHz, but as mentioned, MC7 is running just fine (I'll confess I didn't check the requirements when upgrading from MC6 to MC7). I also have the 4 recommended GB of RAM.
 
My usual workflow, is to use MC for writing/recording, then move the project to Sonar for more recording/mixing. It really started when I installed MC6, as I wanted someting "simpler" for just recording. I have since gotten more used to actually working on the laptop, and would like a better flexibility in moving projects between the two computers (when I will hopefully get a new desktop in June).
 
Any idea if it's worth a try to install Sonar on the laptop?

    I have no trouble running Sonar on a HP Compaq with an i5 760, that runs at 1.6Ghz. I think Intel SpeedStep increases this to 2.3Ghz and this is why you see two speeds. I'm only running a 32bit install so this might make a difference. I'm limited to only 20 or so tracks, and about the same number of plugins (although this varies depending on what plugins they are). I've never had any glitches, I think it's worth a try. Let us know how you go.

    İt runs but do not force it to use vsti plug ins.

    Decided to give it a go, and so far I'm happy :)
     
    Loaded this project I'be been working on in X3 on the desktop into Platinum on the laptop.
    23 tracks, 9 of which are outputs from EzDrummer 2, 2 other synth output tracks, 9 guitar tracks (incluing one bass) plus the three midi tracks for the three synths. All the guitar tracks are running Amplitube 3, and in X3 I had to freeze all the tracks I wasn't recording onto without the CPU meter going red, and the audio engine stopping. 
    In Platinum I was able to unfreeze all the tracks, and play through the whole song, seeing minimal activity on the CPY meter, so so far it's looking good :)
