Colors in X3

Hello fellow Sonar users,

I think Sonar x3 is great but it has also become complicated with customizing the colors! I want to change the background colors of the tracks but it's just too complicated. I liked Sonar 8 because customizing the colors was so much easier! How you find the background colors of clips is beyound me at this point! Has anyone changed these at all from the default color of dark gray? I've also noticed when you color a track strip the data within the track takes on the same color which ok unless you pick a very light color because it's difficult to see light yellow in the piano roll view and maybe some of the controller data in the controller lanes! It would really be great to color Sonar x3's "framework" but I don't think you can do it in x3 like you can in Sonar 8! Cakewalk needs to make customizine the colors easier to manage!

Yeah, there is a learning curve for sure, but I'm pretty certain CW added the track and bus colors from X2 to X3 after many users requested it.

You can still customize the old way. Here are the steps:

I actually like when I change the color of a bus, all of the associated tracks change too. Very handy.
