Playing on after stop

In the last couple of days Platinum now plays on for approx. 1.5 to 2 sec after I stop Playback. (and this not just the tails)
 
Didn't we used to have a preference for turning on and off the "trails"?

    I believe they changed the wording, check out:
    Preferences > Playback and Recording > Always Stream Audio Through FX

    Maybe there is something you aren't seeing past what you think is the end?  What is it that is playing?  And, just curious, what driver mode are you running with in Sonar?

    I often use SONAR Platinum just to play along for practice, and it's remotely controlled by V-Control Pro.  Recently I noticed that if I don't click on Stop, it will continue to play (all night long).  I also searched for the Preference that would turn off the transport after the song was over, but couldn't find it.
     

    Software: Cakewalk by Bandlab; Adobe Audition; Band-in-A-Box audiophile; Izotope Ozone; Encore; Melodyne; Win 10 Pro, 64-bit.

    Hardware: Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 2nd; Roland Integra-7; TCE Finalizer; Presonus Central Station, Behringer X-Touch.  Home built i7 with 16 GB RAM, SSDs.

    Track View Options Menu "Stop At Project End" will cause SONAR to stop after the last data in the project.

    Not necessarily the "end"....maybe I just click stop while playing the song......it will continue for 1.5 - 2 sec.
