Can You Change the Name of a Control Surface?

Quick question for the more knowledgeable folks around here. Using X3 and I have the original Korg nanoKONTROL. It works great and we have no issues with the device or the interface into X3. What we wanted to do was simply change the name that is displayed.

If I go into 'Preferences -> MIDI -> Control Surfaces' I have to use the 'Cakewalk Generic Surface'. We then set up the device and I can save the Presets under the name 'nanoKONTROL'. But there doesn't seem to be a way to change the display name of the control surface. Other MIDI devices have an option to display a 'User Friendly' name (under the Devices option), but the Control Surfaces section doesn't seem to allow me to change the name to anything else. If I click it all it does is set the background to yellow, but I can't edit the name. The result is the ever present 'Cakewalk Generic Surface 1'. That is also the name display in the ACT module on the top dock bar.

Does anyone know of a way to change this? It is not a big thing, it doesn't affect how the surface works, but it sure would be nice to see the actual name instead of 'Generic'.

Many thanks!!
