I'm a huge Zappa fan, however I'm a bit disappointed that there are no sound clips. I think I'll wait for this to come out on Spotify....

Sorry I just saw this - I was off in Montana, tending to my crop of dental floss, and just got back, after first stopping at St Alphonso's Pancake Breakfast House (where I stole the margarine). One of my all-time favorite songs of any style is Zoot Allures. Bob Bone

I've been a big fan of Zappa since I was three. I just took to the whole wackiness as a kid, and later realized what incredible music it was. My favorite album at age three was One Size Fits All and it's still in my top five albums. My all time favorite guitar solo is the one in Inca Roads. I think it's Zappa's best.

There's a wealth of great Zappa videos on YouTube. Especially recommended is the Dick Cavett interview he did. Cavett gave him the whole show. Also for anyone doing Netflix (disc option), there are several really good titles to select.

Hi, Let's see ... Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Hawkwind, Ozric Tentacles, Djam Karet, Alan Stivell, and maybe one or another ... are the only bands/groups that I have more albums than I do Frank's! BTW ... if you EVER have a chance to see it, there is a film out there called "Not Mozart" and it is totally insane (specially peter Greenaway's), and fun to watch ... it's like a combination of 200 Motels and Kurt Weill/Bertold Brecht ... with definite boundaries for good taste as very questionable, but still funny if you get off the supposed spiritualism! The one about the skull is great! I soooooo want to do one of those on stage!
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!
