Video files... Playlist... Full screen mode...

Hi, I want to use the playlist and each of the songs on the playlist do have video files (karaoke files in mp4 format). Program Changes are also sent by the sequencer as we play on a clic track.

But each time a new song is loaded (by the playlist) the window of the video file is reseting to a non full screen mode... so I see the background of my computer desktop. And I do not want that...

If I save each file in full screen mode, that do not works, the video is always reset to a non full screen mode.

Any trick ?

Hey I tried your issue on my system and got different results.  I have a 3 screen system,  I select full screen for my video, save and when I reload the video comes back full screen on the main monitor...not the one I use to watch picture.   If I select "original size" and maximize the box I can see the small Windows strip at the top (it don"t look so bad, it is not intrusive at all) and everything saves and reopens fine.

You might want to try different picture formats.  I find Sonar really likes AVI files.

Thank you, have you tried it with a Sonar Playlist ?

Using playlist, my video of the first song is displayed correctly but I'm never able to see the video of the 2nd or 3rd file on the playlist. It's like the first song video stays on top of the display...

I export the file in .avi format and when I load the Sonar project, the files is never in full screen format even if I save the project in full screen format.

I don't recall reading about anyone using Sonar as you do, not that that should be a problem.
Very few seem to use playlists, or Sonar live, and I don't recall mention of video by those that do.

Have you tried contacting Cakewalk support ?
