Key Shortcuts

Hi
I recently upgraded to sonar professional, like it a lot, especially new midi controllers editing.
What I personally miss from Pro Tools is the possibility to set a function to a key shortcut freely. For instance , I found a shortcut to create an fx region in melodyne ( Control+M ) but not one for rendering the same part . Another one I miss a lot is the shortcut for normalizing an audio track or one to change gain , and so on
Cakewalk : any improvements planned in the near future ?
Thanks a lot, I love this forum

You can do this now in Preferences.

To render a Melodyne clip all you need to do is perform a bounce to clip.

I assigned this to Alt + c back in the days of Sonar 6

The original point is still valid: yes some things can have a keyboard shortcut, but no one would say you can "freely" assign a shortcut to a function: you are limited to the specific things in the preferences list, which omits many many things that one might want to shortcut.
