[solved?] Adding Overloud ReMatrix Presets?
Hi Gang... Sorry if this should have been posted elsewhere, but it seems it might be of interest to many SPlat users... A few days ago I received an email from Overloud about some free additional presets to download for ReMatrix Solo... I found and downloaded them but didn't see any install instructions so I thought it would be self-evident... But I can't find any way to add the presets... Can anyone tell me where the instructions are or tell me the instructions? No biggie, but I'd love to check them out... Thanks... [edit] Ha.... Ok I thin I found it in the manual, but it appears necessary to open it as a regular vst... For some reason I thought our PC version was all we were given... I'll see if I can do this tonight when I have power (just burnt up my battery)... It does appear simple in that version... A button at the bottom of the presets list... [end edit] Keni

I received an email from Overloud about free stuff for REMatrix but I did not see anything for REMatrix Solo. The only way I know to add IRs to REMatrix Solo is the import process in the User section of the IR drop down in the plug-in.

On the page where the presets are downloaded from, it says "Drag the bank file into the REmatrix interface to import the presets." It's in small type and easy to miss.

Thanks scook and TimV...
scook... These are not IRs... As clumsy as that is for Overloud stuff, I see where that is quickly... This is for presets and claimed for solo as well as the regular product...?
TimV... Thanks... I'll give that a try tonight. I even went back and looked at the website again, but didn't see it. Then I opened the manual and found full product info... Which I didn't think we have bundled with Sonar... This sounds easy enough...
Here's hoping!
Thanks guys... Do you think I should post the email here in the forum for others?

I'd be interested if you get it to work, Keni. I tried to drag and drop and it didn't work for me. I then assumed the presets only worked for the full version. Keep us posted if drag and drop works for you.

I think the presets are for the complete REmatrix and the latest sound upgrade library they released for it, not REmatrix solo. Scook beat me to it. By the way, REmatrix is a great reverb (or 6 of 'em, including 5 convolution engines). And like Breeverb's other stuff, the presets are really nice and well done. Solo ain't no slouch, but ... @

And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

I am waiting for the next major Overloud sale. Hoping for an additional break for Solo owners.

I guess you guys are right...
I couldn't get it to load into the solo version...
So why did they bother to send the notice to owners of solo?
Is there something that makes solo better than say, perfect space? Convolution reverbs seem to be so much about the impulses more than anything else...
I haven't had a lot of time to tinker with it as I've been using my goto devices/settings when under time constraints...
Thanks everybody...

Hi Sidroe...
Yes... That's probably the fact... Though it's in need of refinement... ;-)
Thanks...
