Eventide UltraChannel VST 64 bit problem

I was having problems with Eventide's UltraChannel 32 bit VST running on my 64 bit system, did a reinstall and noticed that the 64 bit VST also installed. I have pointed the directory under preferences to scan the  folder the 64 bit plugin is installed in but the scan only comes up with the 32 bit version. Has anybody ever got this to work, Eventide support is limited with applications in Cakewalk Products.
Any help or advice will be most appreciated!

I only have the 64bit version in my 64bit scan path, works OK. I have not tried adding the 32bit version to 64bit SONAR. When it comes to 32bit plug-ins, only the ones which do not have a 64bit version are in my 64bit scan path.

Thanks Scook, This is actually the only third party plugin I have ever tried to use. Cakewalk has some 32bit VSTs I found in the browser but I have not ventured or found the need to use them due to need and the stability problems I have read about. I tried doing an install of Ultra Channel and not installing the 32bit files, afterwards Sonar scanned and found none. Just confused...Thanks again!

I am guessing the plug-in is not in the 64bit scan path. Uninstall the plug-in and make sure when installing again the 64bit plug-in goes into the Cakewalk VST scan path. The default path is "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins". I like to organize my plug-ins by vendor so I installed the UltraChannel in "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Eventide".

64 bit works for me too.

You might have to do a "reset and rescan all" of your VST's.

Thanks for this. I was under the impression Ultra Channel was 64 bit only when I downloaded it.
I'm running Sonar 32 bit, and this is the one plug-in I missed.
