Distortion presets not loading in Sonar Platinum

I have no idea what caused this? I've never experienced this before. When i start a new project and load a distortion plugin,
guitar rig/CLA guitar/TH2, all the presets sound very hissy/fizzy like the preset is not loading properly. If i go back to an older project there is no problem, only in new projects do i have this problem. Anyone experience anything similar?
