Beat Repeat Glitch Gross Beat Tape Stop Tape Start
I am looking for an easy to automate glitch or beat repeat type effect plugin. I have looked at Gross Beat, Glitch 2 and Turnado. Also a little bit at NI The Finger.
These tools currently seem to be made for live performance DJ type stuff. For producing I want an easy way to add a quick special effect like a two beat 64 glitch. I should be able to add the VST select the envelope and set it two whatever effect and value I want.
What are you folks using for these effects? Yeah I fart around and could use an envelope on a pitch VST for a tape stop type effect and possibly use the loop editor for some beat repeat type stuff.
Is anyone got an easy to preview, automate , and instantiate time pitch gate effect VST in use that they could share?
It is hard to come up with new features for future releases, as Sonar Platinum seems to do just about anything one can think of. Way more than others out of the box. However, if the bakery wants to roll out a Cakewalk version of Abletons Beat Repeat as a future yummy, I would gobble that up.

Really? no one wants a ableton beat repeat in sonar? Hello? Can I get a heck yeah?

This is not something I personally do, so cannot speak to it directly in any way. Two products I have seen mentioned often related to this are iZotope's Stutter Edit and Break Tweaker. I am not sure of the nuances between the two, but iZotope has 10-day fully functional trials on their software, so can try them out if you like. The videos on them look rather cool (can start there first to maximize your 10-day trial). Edit: Break Tweaker seems more focused on drum-like material, whereas Stutter Edit seems to modify whatever you feed it.

I have heard good things about this one too: https://sugar-bytes.de/looperatorRry downloading mrhythmizer demo. Quality plugin that actually is more powerful than grossbeat, but interface is not for everybody
