Snap note length behavior.

I know there are complaints about the snap note lengths changing in SV and PRV but it also happens in track view as well while editing and is enoying. I set it to say 1/64 and as i click around the time line where I want to make edits for no reason it will change to 1/8 or whole note or whatever. Is this normal behavior for snap note length? Is there any remedy for this?

    Changing snap resolution in the TV is probably due to having Smart Grid enabled; it changes the resolution automatically based on the timeline zoom level. Right-click the resolution button in the snap module and uncheck Smart Grid. The snap enable button changes to show what mode you're in.
