Dimension Pro and Rapture on Windows 8.1

Hi, I have transferred my Sonar 7, Dimension Pro and Rapture from XP to Win 8.1.  Dim Pro and Rapture will not load into Sonar.  Dim Pro raises an error and says "synth may not be properly installed".  Rapture crashes Sonar and the error messages cites a problem with Rapture64.dll.  Do I have to abandon hope of using these?  Grateful for any thoughts.

    When I went to Win8 it was a clean, fresh install of X3e along with Rapture and Dim Pro.  Rapture and Dim Pro might have been from previous Sonar versions, but they are the latest.
     
    Both run fine stand-alone and from within X3e and S-PlatC.  I do have one extremely isolated problem with Dim Pro, but as long as I don't use that particular program it works great.
     
    This is just to let you know they can run fine in a Win8.1x64 environment.

    Glad you've got yours all sorted out.  Mine is a clean, new install of Sonar and these two synths.  I've tried everything I know with no joy, and searched the internet.  I think I'm going to have to give this up as a lost cause.

    Are you running DPro v1.5 and Rapture v1.2.2 64bit VSTs? The updates are available on the support pages. These are the versions shipping with the current SONAR.

    How did you go about 'Transferring' the applications?  You should really consider downloading the correct installers for these from Cakewalk and letting the installer set them up for you.  Just go to your store account and get the fresh code.
