Issues in the PRV... Cambridge?
Ok...
I've been working far less than I usually do, so I'm not sure is these are issues with Platinum in general or related to the Cambridge update... If there's any merit to them, I will post separate threads... That work for everyone right now?
1) I like to use the PRV floating full screen... Using the alt-3 command to open it...
Every time I issue this command it opens floating but with only a small window. No matter how many times I max the window, closing it causes it to revert to small again...
Is there some new method of making it retain its window size? ...intended operation?? ...bug???
2) a bit of a nuisance for me to always have to readjust the note height from the default of "too big for me"...
3) the increased width of controller lines? They are now so wide, that they they are as wide as 32nd notes in my typical zoom.. I think of 8 measures? ... Or there about... It's forcing me to constantly readjust settings of viewing controller pane or not to display velocities...
I know along with all the touch screen access, the sizes of things need to be larger, but for those of us not using touch screens (whether or not by choice), these issues are the opposite for many of us... Fingers are far to innacurate for much of this (for some of us) or at least at the cost of necessary screen real estate... The mouse allows far more accurate touch points for me...
So if these issues are not bugs, maybe it's time for me to make some feature requests?
User-selectable controller handle widths?
Memory to retain window size?
Memory of currently selected note height?
Has anyone else had this happen? When did these items appear? Original release or update?
I hope someone can tell me that these are current bugs and already being fixed? Very much a pita to my MIDI workflow...
Thanks!
