Placement Of The Console Emulation On Bus

I am watching a bunch of youtube videos on other console emulations from Waves, Slate, etc... they seem to put the channel console at the bottom (last to leave the channel), but on the bus it goes to, it seems like most people are putting it as the FIRST thing on the BUS, then all the FX.

Where should the Sonar console emulation go?
