Will CW Replace Gobbler?
Any news about that? Would love an online sharing utility! I re-installed from scratch, so I dont have X3 installed and don't want it.

There are zilllions. Wetransfer.com, Dropbox, google drive immediately comes to mind. I would only use these to share files I would never trust them as primary backup facilities, maybe secondary backup.
I would never trust gobler again myself.

I thought Gobbler was horrible. Huge CPU drain. I subscribed and unsubscribed within a week. Not missing it here! I switched to Microsoft OneDrive with a free sync program and haven't looked back since. Costs me 99 cents a month.

Trouble is that Gobbler went to version 2.0 and only had support for the Mac platform. No news on PC but I think it's vapourware.
If you want this kind of service i guess it's an individual thing to follow up.

Gobbler was a great idea with great functionality that worked well for me for a while until they decided to stop supporting Windows. Remember that? They warned Windows users to download all of their backups before a certain date after which they would not be accommodated. Then after much online outrage, they apologized, said that they would refund everyone's money and continue to backup their files, with a view to releasing Gobbler 2.0 which they'd previously said would only be available for Macs. Well I waited and waited and waited until it looked like they just weren't going to bother, then gave up. Besides which, Gobbler had started to malfunction for me - randomly logging me out and failing to back stuff up for days at a time, creating duplicate files, that sort of thing. I removed it straight away and I will never allow it back on my computer again. They've thrown Windows users under the bus and don't care. So I switched to Crash Plan and couldn't be happier. It provides much the same backup functionality as Gobbler but executed a lot more professionally. I got the annual subscription and it was along the same lines as Gobbler price wise, only there are no space limits as far as I can tell. Screw Gobbler.

Indeed. Will never go back to Gobbler again. I am experimenting with DropBox and so far it is working perfectly as both a back up and file transfer service.

I like app.box.com better than dropbox for collabs. Even with the gratis version, you can set up folders for collabs and grant access to others. A one stop point for up- and downloading tracks. I've used it thru 8 or 9 collabs now and it's been a good tool.

Crash Plan has been working well for me, although One Drive is a good deal with 20 Gb for free.
Win 10 Pro x64, 32Gb DDR3 ram, Sonar Platinum, Cubase 9.5, Mackie MCU Pro, Cakewalk VS 100, Roland Octa-Capture, A 800 Pro, Carver M-1.5t amp & C4000 pre amp, various mics, drums and brass instruments. And away we go!
