Anyone have any dealings with NTONYX lately?
Long, long, long ago, many computers and iterations of Cakewalk ago, I'd purchased Micro 2.0 from a Russian software company called NTONYX through the Cakewalk store. It actually was a handy little midi plugin, and could liven up a track here and there. They've still got a website, but I don't think they've got any relationship with Cakewalk anymore. What I'm wondering is if anyone's gotten anything from them lately, and how does it work with the 64-bit Sonar program? Does anyone else out there offer similar midi plugins? Also, I've been wondering about Kirnu's Cream. Anyone have any reviews for it?

I bought these when I was using X1, but never actually used them. Since I've switched to more sample-based libraries rather than emulators, I haven't had a need for what they do anymore. I bought them because I used to use them years ago. With sample-based libraries, the various articulations replace the "humanizing" scripting I had to do to get an authentic sounding part. They do work, or at least they did in X1 64bit. Regards, Dan
Mixing is all about control. Are you sure? Aren't they 32 bit only? (In which case, as MFX they would only work in x32 Sonar(?)

These are both 32 and 64 bit. I own them and they seem to work fine but don't get a lot of use. The Humanize app seems to fill the same type of duty: http://www.midi-plugins.de

Should also point to Markleford's plugs which are neat little problem solvers but nothing like a humanize function: http://www.tencrazy.com/gadgets/mfx/Both 32 and 64 bit versions.

I did email them a month or so ago to see if they are going to port their 32 bit mfx to 64 bit and they emailed back saying that they're working on it.

You're right. I don't have the Micro version, I have the full Style Enhancer which is 32/64 bit. It is only $10 more. Regards, Dan

Style Enhancer Micro is also available as 32 and 64bit. There is a demo version which IIRC was shipped with older versions of SONAR.

Thanks for the info. I guess they're still functioning as a real business. Anyone use Kirnu Cream?
