(ANSWERED) Do I need to keep X1 when running X3?

Just having a massive clear out of the 'man room' and getting rid of a load of stuff (mostly junk) that has not been used in a while (use it or lose it!). I've come across all my X1 discs - I originally moved over from Cubase onto X1 and subsequently upgraded to both X2 and then X3.

Just looking to see if there's an impact if I pass X1 on to a friend, with the codes? I do not use it any more, actually, never used it. Bought it, installed it, never used it, paid to upgrade to X2, used it a bit, paid to upgrade to X3 and can't stop using it!!!  Obviously if it causes issues, I have no objections to keeping it, just thought someone else may benefit from entering the Sonar world.

While you have several copies of SONAR and their authorization codes, you have only one license to use the product (assuming the X2 and X3 were purchased as upgrades). Because you only have one license, you cannot give away the old versions.
