EZ Drummer 2 and Sonar - One More Question
OK, I finally got this product working and that's cool. One question about the special percussion sounds: handclaps, shaker, and tambourine.
When I put those in a Sonar track, they don't play in time at all. I've tried just putting the appropriate notes in the EZ Drummer 2 MIDI track like any other drum note, and I've also tried using Toontrack-supplied patterns and dragging those into the MIDI track.
What happens is the sounds will play really late, but not in any predictable way that could be corrected with an offset. In fact, if I click a hand clap or tambourine note with the pencil in Staff View, there is a very significant delay before it makes any sound. The sounds are just way out of time with a very unpredictable and irregular amount of delay.
Is there something I am missing? I really like the handclaps but can't use them.
