Indiginus Renaxxance update 1.2
Just got an email from Indiginus indicating that there is a new update for Renaxxance. Not sure what it updates or fixes, but it is v1.2.

I got email but it just had the link to download. can't find any information about what is updated. Guess I need to download and check.

It adds a chord-definition screen and the ability to save/load chord collections, and the "Harmonic Dance" instrument has been beefed up and renamed "da Vinci PPM".

After listening to the new PPM demos...I succumbed and bought this baby. And boy, is it good. Looking forward to your review! Two things I haven't figured out yet though (no, of course, I haven't cracked a help screen or manual:-) first, the PPM doesn't seem to be syncing to Sonar...or should it? And, second, I don't see the screen anywhere I thought I saw in the videos that had chords on the left and single notes on the right of the keyboard.
But again...this is very good. And I bought the Ilya Efimov over last xmas. Bet I'll use this more.

Tracy already sent me an email that there were problems with the existing downloads and DAW sync...which have since been fixed...what great customer service!! Will download again tomorrow.
Still haven't sussed the chords thingy.

- NOTICE - Tracy found a bug with the tempo sync in the da Vinci instrument after the release, which was quickly fixed. If you were among the first to download the update, check the version number, which should now be 1.2.1. If you're at version 1.2, you should be able to re-use your previous download link to get the update.

Thanks for the update! I down loaded the 1.2.1 zip, but kinda curious, how can you tell which version you have by looking?

Welp...I finally got a new download done and installed...and still the PPM thingy is not syncing to Sonar at all. Or I'm not understanding how it's supposed to work. I picked a preset pattern I liked but it does not run at the DAWs tempo. Is there a sync to host switch I'm not seeing?? UPDATE: Turns out you have to physically change the pattern note value setting...or at least that's what did it for me. Then it starts syncing. HTH. UPDATE2: And, apparently, you'll have to change it and reset it every time you change the tempo value in Sonar. A hassle...but at least it works. I've emailed Tracy with this as well.

Sorry, but it is so true. Have not yet read your review, but look forward to do so very much. Playing Renaxxance is addictive and once you start, you can't stop. And it sounds so, very, very real.

Tracy says it looks like the update didn't get placed in one of the download servers. He sent me another link to a payloadz server that I'll try tomorrow.

That did the trick. If you've been having sync problems...even after a new download...just have Tracy send you the payloadz link.
