A button/drop-down on CB or a keyboard shortcut to quickly change color schemes

Most of the time I use a whitish color for the Track View background because that way I can easily locate clips with the default black background color (especially tiny ones), but when I work with automations I need to change the TV background color back to the default black because automations have brighter colors.

I want to be able to change the color schemes more easily, without having to open Preferences.

Tak T.

Maybe make colors a selectable property to screensets, or something.
Little like Mix recall settings dialog och tell what you want to be recalled.

I have a FR about complete makeover of color customizing. The ghost automation curve on main track cannot be set anywhere, it becomes a much dark version of automation lane color. Partly related to this maybe. If you cannot affect the colors you want - it's only halfbaked doing a switch in CB.

I like the idea of a color scheme picker in the CB or similar.   I also like the idea of being able to optionally link color schemes with screen sets.

Would be nice if there was a right click on the track color to load last used color - would save some time !!!

Is there already an FR regarding greater exposure of functions to the keyboard shortcut facility?  If so, IMO this should be referenced in that FR as support for it.

If not, this FR should be expanded to include an overhaul and expansion of the shortcut facility.  Don't get me wrong, I like the idea, but how many FRs could we end up with requesting each function we can conceivably think of that a shortcut would be handy for?  I would rather see users made more self sufficient in creating and managing their own shortcuts - the ONLY way I can think of to allow everybody to have shortcuts for exactly what they want shortcuts for.

I hate to do this, but this is a case where looking to a different DAW with a different business model would make sense to see how a well-done shortcut feature could be implemented.
