Clone MIDI Track - Looses Some (not all) MIDI Automation

I was working on a project when I ran into this, just wondering if anyone else is seeing it.
1. Insert a synth with a MIDI and audio track
2. Add some notes to the MIDI track (a 1/4 note every 4 measures)
3. Add pitch wheel automation to the MIDI track, I was doing 8192 to 0 fast curve dives for the 1/4 notes
4. Clone the MIDI track
Expected result: All automation envelopes cloned with the MIDI
Actual result: Some of the envelopes were converted to square dotted lines (step curve) instead of 8192 - 0 fast curves.
I had to go into the automation and fix up the missing curves after cloning the track.

When you says "some of the envelopes" I gather you mean "some segments of the one envelope", correct?

I tried to reproduce the problem and the wheel envelope cloned correctly with all fast curve segments preserved. I'm not sure what would cause them to default to Jump types. What type of segment were you using to get back to 8192?

    SONAR Platinum x64, 2x MOTU 2408/PCIe-424  (24-bit, 48kHz)
    Win10, I7-6700K @ 4.0GHz, 24GB DDR4, 2TB HDD, 32GB SSD Cache, GeForce GTX 750Ti, 2x 24" 16:10 IPS Monitors

    Yes, some of the segments.
The segments are all 0-8192 at the start of the note (jump), then 8192-0 fast curve to the end of the note.
