Color Customization - anyone able to improve?

I realize many of you are probably over the lack of color customization, yet with me recently moving from 8.5 to Platinum, I'm still missing the color choices. It's more the functional reasons why 8.5 is better in my opinion with it's colors and display in the Track View. Sure many may say Platinum is cool and up to date with this new color scheme, but just go back to 8.5 and see what a big difference it is in being able to quickly distinguish really everything in the Track View.
 
I know I'll get more used to Platinum, but I still think we ought to have more freedom to choose color schemes not for aesthetic reasons as much as functional ones. I messed with the color customization, but haven't really made much progress. So has anyone uploaded their custom .CLR files, I'd like to try out some to see if we can get some improvements.
