Bass on a six-string

Find myself having to play bass on one song only for my band. I’ve built a reasonable patch with Guitar Rig Octaver. However was wondering if anyone has advice on Splats plugs that could tame or reduce the rumble of a octaver.

Yeah I know your thinking take the bass, but I'm dragging around so much as it is.

Thanks

I have empirical evidence this is true... (Bender told me!)

You can play your six-string gtr, make a RegionFX Melodyne of it, and drag it down
to a MIDI file feeding i.e. DimPro 'Real basses - Finger plucked' or something similar.

Use the QuadCurve EQ on the channel with the Guitar Rig insert. Should be able to tame the rumble pretty easily.
