Raise volume of a sound clip

I am new to sonar x3. Can someone please tell me how to raise or lower the volume of a small sound clip. Thanks

    Bus Fader
     
    To name but a few.
     
    There are many, many ways to do this, the question is, what are you trying to do?

    If you want to permanently raise the volume of a clip, select the clip and use Process -> Audio -> Gain.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Ctrl+Left-click a clip and drag your mouse up or down to control Clip Gain.

    when burning a CD the volume on the track is too low, how can I raise it to play it on a CD player and get normal volume like any other CD?

    don't forget Normalize
