Digitech Trio pedal
It uses "Band in a Box" to 'read' what you play and add drums and bass. Seems to have a lot of different styles and options. It has two outs, one to an amp and one mixer/PA out for the bass and drums, or you can run it all out through the amp. If you hold the last chord just a little it will do a fill. I'm sure with all out plugins, it is redundant again but still, being a pedal I bet it is a fun little living room toy and at 179.00, shoot.. of course there is the EHX C9 competing for my money. I was sold on getting a B9 but the C9 has a mellotron. I've heard some really good sounds from Band in a Box but the price has put me off, however it makes me think that this pedal might be a GEM! http://digitech.com/en-US/products/trioThere are some videos on Sweetwater that are a bit better and I'm sure YT has some good ones. This one on SW is impressive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ZCQaaf4Xfbk J

I have one coming from American Musical. It won't be here until late next week as they shipped it from their Reno warehouse and I'm across country in Florida. I'll try it and see if I want to keep it or send it back.

The Trio was a bust and going back to American Musical. It may be OK for some genre's but not traditional country. I tried a simple I IV V chord pattern and I got everything except a basic rhythm pattern. I went through videos on line and they make it sound good, but in actual use (at least my use) its not that way.

My experience with Digitech is on the surface they look like a bargain, but you can't actually use the stuff seriously. I've briefly owned a few of their multi pedals and even the built in tuners are a failure for live use.

I have a Digitech RV7 reverb pedal. It is Lexicon reverbs in a stomp box. It works well.
