Is Melodyne broken in Dorchester??

Started having some weirdness after installing Dorchester.  Melodyne will not open its GUI when creating a region fx and won't open even if the "open editor" command is clicked.  I can use it standalone on my desktop no probs but it either won't open or just crashes on instantiation.  Anyone else seeing this??

Thanks.  I had some VST scanning issues recently, maybe that had something to do with it.  I'll keep experimenting.

Welp Ol Mel is working in X3 and other newer Platinum projects...but not this project which was one done originally in X3 and which did have some weirdness as I mentioned in another thread.  I guess I should just make a whole new project and just import every midi and audio tracks data into it.  Sheesh.

Why would they break it in only one town? Ha ha!

But seriously, after the Dorchester update in Artist I have experienced some popping and rude noises when bringing up instances of vst effects. Also some GUI's on vsts that only partially load. I close and re-open the plug and everything is fine. Just an annoyance at this point.

Nope. Used it as late as this morning in Dorchester.

    Please see my post above.

This appears to be project specific...though I think I have many more "old" projects which might exhibit the same problems. Is there any good info on porting older X3 and X2 projects successfully into Platinum?

Actually I was using it in a project that was started in X3, and a different project that was started in X2, so a "pure" SONAR+Melodyne environment doesn't seem to be a problem.

I'd suggest starting in safe mode. Bring in Melodyne and see what happens.

Yup...did that...and still no love. Also in this project Neo Soul Keys keeps getting randomly transposed by a fifth up. I even deleted it and instantiated a new instance...no change. Have since replaced it with Lounge Lizard 4 and...so far...no hijinks. I'm pretty sure this particular project is corrupted somehow...and, dang, it's such a good song!!! Will try simply building a new project tomorrow and will keep ya posted😉
