Swipe For Time Tool...

Guess I'll try yet again. For those of us in the commercial broadcast field PLEASE institute a tool in the smart hub to swipe for time. This would simply allow the user to swipe along the time line and get a readout of the exact time of the time swiped. PLEASE finally relieve me of my dependence on a stopwatch!!

Maybe this is better than using a stopwatch?

    1. Open the Clip Properties Inspector and choose H:M:S:F from the Time Format drop-down.
    2. Hold down ALT (this temporarily enables the Split tool) and drag the desired region in the audio clip.
    3. Select the clip separated and check the Length field in the Clip Properties Inspector.

    Tak T.

    Hi-

Is this an FR for something different than the one I posted? If so, can someone explain the difference to me and I'll vote for it. If not, can these FRs somehow be consolidated?

    Thanks-
