Some additional track icons

Maybe I was bored the other day, but I decided to make some track icons. Perhaps someone else can have some use for them? Personally I prefer icons that are quite clean and easily recognizable, so that's what I've been trying to make. I have also named them so that they won't interfere with existing icons that comes with the Sonar installation. Here's what they look like:

Z3TA+ 2
Addictive Drums 2
Addictive Keys
Strum GS-2
Dimension Pro
Rapture
Rapture Pro

The images you see above are of course in a web friendly format, not suitable for track icons. If someone would like to download the bit mapped images, a zip file containing the bitmaps is available for download at this link for a week. I'm sorry that I have no place to store them more permanently.

Thanks! Would be nice if we could have a sticky where people contribute icons.

If Cakewalk could provide the space, maybe we could have a user maintained resource centre. Perhaps one of the forum hosts or another Sonar member could be given the appropriate permissions to look after it.

Maybe an even better way to do it is to have a process for Membership Program submissions. I forget who did it but awhile ago, someone came up with some very plain colored icons that were very useable. I think it would make a lot of sense to have a way for items like these to be downloadable with the monthly release.

I was thinking from the point of view that Cakewalk didn't have to do the maintaining as that may detract from the chance of getting it done. An expanded resource not just for Track icons but background and screen images and a variety of resource docs. Eg. If have a slew of Cal docs and resources in my Onedrive Public folder that I've given general access to folks here. If stuff like that could be in a Sticky or somewhere on the Cakewlak site then I wouldn't have to repeatedly provide the link.

To answer my own (#13) question, this is where to put these icons
    C:Cakewalk Content/SONAR Platinum/Track Icons/

I had put them in their own folder titled "Sonar Icons by Others" so I'd know they were not stock icons that come with Sonar.

If I have to reinstall Platinum I'm pretty sure (?) that this folder would be overwritten & be lost.
So I also put a copy of the folder  another drive for backup.

I think that Mike V. already has taken care of a permanent storage for this zip file in his public Cakewalk related OneDrive folder (see #14 above). But thanks anyway.
