Midi notes shortened in Dorchester?

Midi notes shortened in Dorchester?

I have just noticed that whenever I split a midi clip in Sonar Platinum any long notes that start before the split that would normally sound through it are truncated. Is this new behaviour or has it always happened?

    Disable Non-destructive MIDI Editing in Preferences. It's non-destructive in the sense that you can recover the truncated notes by slip-editing the clip boundary back out to the end of the note, but in most cases, I find it to be musically destructive.
