Well, it's not happening tomorrow. I'm still waiting to hear exactly what content they want to include from the "content bank."

The first 3 books in "The Musician's Guide to Home Recording" series are available from Hal Leonard and http://www.reverb.com. Listen to my music on http://www.YouTube.com/thecraiganderton, and visit http://www.craiganderton.com. Thanks!

Hello Craig! Just wanted you know what I think about your "clean" pedal boards. Amazing! I have Amplitube, Revalver from peavey and TH2 and guitar rig and found yours to be just as good as any of them!  The sounds are great and with only a little tweaking, mostly removing some brightness for my taste, and its all good. I understand why you were disappointed they didn't make the first release. Hats off to you sir!

Well thank you very much! I'd like to do some retro ones eventually - surf music, rockabilly, 50s, and 60s. I'm trying to design a humbucker-to-single-coil converter module for the rockabilly one so you can get "Fender" sounds if you play a Gibson with humbuckers. The Surf one is pretty much done.

I've heard the next release contains a modified version of the quadcurve so it can fit within cellphones and swimming pools.

How 'bout poly guitar-MIDI converter so I don't have to pay 4 bills for a piece of Fishman hardware?  :)

I hope to see 3 significant developments each year, drum map being the first. Seeing Drum Replacement in the next release would reassure me of this expectation. I know they haven't said this is their plan, but this is my expectation.

Edit: see next post for details

I wouldn't know I don't think I've ever had a cake baked for me. I do when I have my cake, like to eat it.

I'm sorry no one's baked you a cake.
You have to have your cake and eat it too. Why have a cake you can't eat?

That's not to say I never had cakes as a kid, just don't recall my mum ever baking one. She knew I would enjoy get more satisfaction being giving the ingredients to try myself. All the cakes I've had I've eaten, except the time I put too much baking powder in.

I predict a sound engineer replacement plugin.

I predict (hoping actually) that the PRV view remembers the last controller lane status. Currently, when you go to open PRV of a track that has lots of controllers, they all display at once and are unmanageable until you close some of them....

I'd actually be really happy with a single page eZine that lists another 40 important fixes ... 37 that I wasn't even aware of plus 3 I reported (track templates, ACT, and ACT again)

I'm fine with surprises as long as it's chocolate cake with chocolate butter-cream frosting with dark chocolate chunks scattered on the top.

drum replacement time....

I did my first live drum recording a few weeks ago. I was using E-drums to trigger software previously.
I'm not working on the mix until I see what this baby can do.
I'm looking more to enhance live drums than replace them. I know we already have tools to do this, but I'd hate to spend hours doing it the current way if there's a new function that will automatically make it easier ,and hopefully, better
