Easiest ways to get EZ Drummer/AD Drum midi patterns into a Sonar file

Right off, I've got terrible eyesight, but I can't seem to find anything in either of their manuals about how to drag midi beats from either program onto a track in a Sonar file. I'm guessing someone was clever enough to make it difficult to do so that people don't just rip off their beats, but I can't find the sections that explain how to do it.

I know I've done it before, but I don't know how the hell I did it. Anyway, if anyone owns either or both of the programs can you point me to the right pages in the manuals or give me a description of how to do it, I'd appreciate it.

Also, I'm wondering if maybe there's something in Sonar that prevents me dragging the beats, because I think I just dragged and dropped before and now I can't. Is there some box in Sonar to click to allow this?

It's drag and drop...just select the pattern you want
and drag it onto a MIDI Instrument Track and you should be
    good to go...

    Thanks.

Actually, I got it working. I think I had been using a file saved as a midi file. When I converted it to a default Cakewalk file it worked fine. I guess that there are some things you can't do with a midi file in Sonar.
