What a class act.  Just wonderin' what will happen to Lucille.

I've now watched five BB videos in a row, from live concerts to tutorials.  He was just a good guy all around.  
 

He just seemed like one of those iconic figures who would somehow manage to never die.

We're running out of treasure.

I don't know ... for me, you, the Coffee House, is as much a "treasure" as B. B. King and any other musician. The only thing I know for sure is that we all pass away sooner or later, and while I can appreciate the stuff an artist/musician does, to me, it is no different than a lot of people here, and I probably would shed more tears hearing that someone here ____________________________, than anything else.
 
I've had a few cries. Seeing a close friend like Daevid Allen go, was not scary, but sad for me, and had me in a funk for a few days. One always misses the looniest friends and their emails, and their comments, and their fun when you saw them again! Richard Wright was the same thing for me. I've always like his work in the band and on his own, better than any of the others, and he always got the least amount of credit for the magnificent moods and feelings, that otherwise would have made the band come off just like any other cheap bar band showing off their guitars and pants!
 
B. B. might be gone, but having seen Stevie Ray Vaughn, and a couple of weeks later he was gone, was actually much sadder, since you still had a connection from the concert.
 
All in all, and I've said it before, I want to go before everyone else. I will be too sad to see everyone go and I'm still on my feet. But you can bet that I will still blow out my ears and nose with loud stuff that I love! This way, I don't have to worry about anyone saying/thinking that I'm just another dot on the paper! That gets boring, too!
