Sonar X1 Tutorials

I've just received Sonar X1 and would like to begin the tutorials.  The on-line help tells me to do the following; Navigate to the Cakewalk Content folder (default location is C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR X1 [Producer, Studio or Essential]\Tutorial Projects\Audio Tutorial Project) and locate the project named SONAR_AudioDemo.cwb.  The problem is that this file does not exist.  Can someone help?  Thank you.

An easier way is to use the Browser. In the Browser, click the Media tab. Then click the Content Location menu and choose Sample Content. Double-click Tutorial Projects and then double-click the project file you want to open.

Thank you Scott.  I assume I must have a project already open to do this as I don't see any Browser available.  Thanks again.

    Hi,

I have a similar problem.  I have installed Sonar X1 LE which came free with an audio interface, however the file SONAR_AudioDemo.cwb does not appear to exist anywhere on my PC.  I don't even have the Tutorial Projects folder within the Sample Content folder.

Any help would be appreciated as I seem to have fallen over at step 1!

Check the Views menu for Browser. No need to have a project open but usually when Sonar opens it shows the quick menu box where you can select to open an existing project or create a new one. Once you e done that and Sonar is fully open the Briwser should be available as I've described.

    old thread Mike

Not so old, I resurrected the thread for the reason in my above post, as I can't find anything more relevant elsewhere in the forum. I'm guessing that LE means I have some form of "light" version of Sonar X1 which maybe doesn't support the tutorials?

I've got the same problem. Have the X1 LE and none of the tutorials are loaded. Would be nice if someone from Cakewalk would post a response. They must have the tutorials available for download I would think.
