A weird thing with take lanes

In one project, and only one project so far, in two tracks within a single folder, Sonar created a Take 2 take lane and left the Take 1 take lane blank when I first started recording.  Other projects using the same project template worked fine.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Possibly you did an aborted recording that left a snippet of audio in T1? I'm assuming you usually record both of those tracks together so they tend to have the same pattern of take lanes and clips; is that right?

I was thinking that is probably what happened but I couldn't see anything.
